This month and last, our Wednesday night Bible studies have been such a blessing as different speakers from within our church have shared meaningful lessons and words of encouragement with our congregation.

Last night, Brother Don Reeves shared an on-time message from Matthew 24–25, reminding us of Jesus’ command to “Watch!” and encouraging us to recognize the times we are living in, staying prayerful, and be ready for the Lord’s return.

Jesus is coming soon—watch and pray! 🙏✝️

We are honored and excited, beginning yesterday and concluding on Saturday, to host the Military Chaplaincy Instructional Seminar at Elmwood! 🇺🇸🙏 This seminar, offered through the Hispanic Military Outreach Chaplain Capacitation Program (MOCCP) in Columbia, brings together ministry personnel and civilian chaplains from around the world for training and equipping in chaplaincy ministry.

We are so thankful for these men and women who have answered the call to minister to our military and share the Gospel with those who serve. What a privilege for our church to host those who are faithfully serving on the front lines of our nation and in the army of God! ❤️

Please join us in praying for them and the ministry God has entrusted to them.🙏🏽

Also thank you to Pastor Ruben and Sister Priscilla for organizing and heading up this amazing conference. Thank you Sister Lumeshia and Sister Regina for faithfully serving. We love you all.

What a wonderful night of worship with our Elmwood Alumni Choir! 🎶❤️ It was so great seeing and hearing many of the voices that have been a part of Elmwood through the years.

Elmwood has always been known for having great choirs, and Sunday night was a beautiful reminder of the musical heritage and ministry that continues to flow from this great church. What a special night! 🙌

📖 Finishing Well | 2 Timothy 4:6–8

What a powerful message from Pastor on Sunday! As Paul came to the end of his life, he could confidently say, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”

The goal isn’t just to start well—it’s to finish well.

Three things we must guard against:

1️⃣ Don’t Be Distracted — Distraction can destroy our focus and keep us from finishing the course God has given us.

2️⃣ Don’t Become Complacent — Keep growing, keep pressing forward, and don’t get comfortable in your walk with God.

3️⃣ Fight Against Compromise — Stand firm in your faith and remain faithful to God’s Word.

🙏 Let’s keep our eyes on Jesus, stay faithful, and finish well!
