Peace is not passive. It is brave action.

It is standing with the lamb and the lion — not denying the tension, but believing love is stronger than fear. It is choosing courage over comfort. Mercy over revenge. Justice over silence.

We are a people called not just to believe in peace, but to practice it. To dismantle what diminishes human dignity. To unlearn empire and relearn Christ. To create communities where every child knows they belong and every neighbor is seen as sacred.

The mission of Community of Christ is not abstract — it is embodied.

We are called to:
✨ Proclaim Jesus Christ and promote communities of joy, hope, love, and peace.
✨ Pursue peace on and for the Earth.
✨ Abolish poverty and end needless suffering.
✨ Invite all to experience the transforming power of God’s grace.

We affirm the Living God is ever self-revealing. God is revealed to the world in the testimony of Israel, and above all in Jesus Christ. By the Holy Spirit we continue to hear God speaking today. The church is called to listen together for what the Spirit is saying and then faithfully respond.

Peace requires participation. It requires hard conversations, open tables, and hearts willing to stretch beyond comfort. Not to divide — but to deepen. Not to politicize — but to humanize.

This is who we are.
This is who we are becoming.

And the world is aching for it. 🕊️

Life isn’t meant to be lived alone. In a world that can feel heavy, broken, and divided, this is a reminder that we were made for each other to lift each other up, to walk through the hard days side by side, and to celebrate the good ones together.

No matter where you come from or where you are, there’s a place for you. There’s healing in community, strength in unity, and hope when we choose love over everything else. Life truly is better together.
