Originally, the Nyingmapa Taksham Buddhist Center planned to have the Maha Guru Bhum Tsok (Great feast offering prayer ceremony to Guru Padmasambhava) earlier, but had to reschedule due to the time being the same as the Tibetan American Foundation of Minnesota. Henceforth, we will host a 2 day Guru Bhumtsok at the center in Columbia Heights on August 30 and 31 to accumulate and dedicate merit for the long life of His Holiness the Great 14th Dalai Lama - who turns 90 this year; for the long life and well being of all the other great dharma masters; for the benefit of all sentient beings- especially the ones enduring sickness, famine, war, and se well as dedicating our merit towards the prevailment of truth for ali leetans
and for Tibetans living in exile and in Tibet to one day be able to together. Please join us on Saturday and Sunday, August 30th and 31st, 2025, at 10 AM at 4639 Fillmore St. NE Columbia Heights, Minnesota 55421.

🎓✨ Last Sunday, we celebrated a momentous occasion—the graduation and farewell ceremony of His Eminence the 8th Taksham Rinpoche, as he embarks on a journey to India for a higher Buddhist ceremony. It was a heartfelt gathering filled with love, gratitude, and inspiration.

A special thank you to our esteemed chief guest, Columbia Heights Mayor Amáda Márquez Simula, and North America CTA Representative Chidue Tenzin Jigme la. We are grateful for your presence and support.

We also extend our appreciation to all the representatives from various nonprofit organizations and to our cherished Dharma friends. Your collective efforts and presence made this event truly memorable.
