God is a “very present help in the time of trouble.” He is with you and He will help you! Get to know Him better today.

Everything that has the design of God on it is, and has been, a target of the enemy from the start. And everything that God has designed has purpose, beauty, and significance.

Creation, itself, is a reflection of the greatness of our God. Psalm 19 opens with the declaration: “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth His handiwork.”

There is order and structure built into everything that God has designed. The closest image to God, Himself, is the man He formed. Man was given dominion and the command to be fruitful and to multiply.

God shows His varying characteristics in both male and female, but to the man was given to progenerate and protect. And to the woman to be able to bear children.

This was the foundation for continuing generations. We are aware all too well what the impact of fatherlessness has done to our culture.

As expressed in Malachi 4:6: “And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.”

When the father role of leadership and relationship is removed, it literally brings a curse.

We see the importance again of the role of fathers in how Abraham found favor with God. As God said of him: “For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgment; that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.” Genesis 18:19

God was looking for this quality in the one He chose to covenant with. In every visitation and divine move of God in the earth, there will always be a healing and restoration of the family and a strengthening of the fathers. This is because the plan of God is for impartation. This happens best when there is unbroken relationship between fathers and their children.

The war right now is over impartation. Literally the passing down from generation to generation, but coupled with what the current generation is called to do.

So, God we pray: “heal our land, let the hearts of the fathers be turned to the children.”
