Pleasant Mound Cemetery Association, located in Colton, N.Y. is reaching out to ask for the public and local businesses’ support in keeping Pleasant Mound Cemetery a peaceful and well-maintained resting place for our loved ones. As a non-profit organization, we rely heavily on community donations to fund our operations. We are a small cemetery serving the needs of local residents for generations.

We are committed to providing a dignified and respectful environment for all, and we are always working to improve our grounds. We are currently undertaking a project to expand our memorial areas to accommodate the needs of our community. The viability of the cemetery depends on developed sites being available. The cost of annual maintenance on the existing sites has risen to exceed the funds available for this purpose. This has created a situation where we need assistance.

Your donation, no matter how big or small, will make a real difference in ensuring that Pleasant Mound Cemetery remains a beautiful and serene place for generations to come.

Pleasant Mound Cemetery is requesting bids for Spring cleanup and mowing for 2026. Spring cleanup needs to be done before Memorial Day mowing. The first mowing needs to be done before Memorial Day, the second mowing done by July 4, and the third done by Labor Day. Please submit your bids to Kevin Bates: [email protected].
