Omgoodness I just happened to come across this pic:) My dear friend and partner in foodie crimes, Lorna De McPherson! Dr Rolf would give us money to go have lunch so we did just that by the Glendora Shopping Mall:) We went shopping too:) When my mama arrived at LIFE BIBLE COLLEGE way before I was born, Lorna De saw her walking in front of Angelus Temple and asked her if she was there for Bible School. My mama said, “Yes I’ve just arrived. Lorna De said, “Do you need a job?” Mama said, Yes.” Lorna De said, “Are you good with children?” Mama said, “Yes I’ve helped raise my little brother and sister.” Lorna De said, “Your hired I need a nanny for my children. I’m Sister Aimee’s daughter in law and my husband is Rolf McPherson.” My mama spent much time in the McPherson home when she wasn’t at the Bible School and Mama sewed for Sister Aimee and my dad n mom helped in the Prayer Tower n 500 Room services. Lorna De became like a mama to me but more like a friend and a partner in taking me to best cafes to eat lunch as we were both Foodies:) 😂🤣😂
