Happy New Year!
While it hardly seems possible that another year has passed, it is indeed a fact. I don't know about you, but I'm excited about the New Year! I'm quite sure that this past year held many victories as well as many challenges. If your life is anything like mine, it probably seemed like you were on an intense roller coaster ride. Often, we might feel like we didn't even sign up for the trip but we're on it anyway. Well, one thing is for sure, and that is that this year will have its share of ups and downs as well.
The Bible says in Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
As we leave a challenging 2021 and enter an unknown 2022, it is helpful to remember that God has a plan for our lives and this verse is just such a reminder. I do believe that we serve a God who is “the same yesterday, today and forever.” As we look ahead into the year 2022, there's not a person among us who can be sure of what the future holds. But what we do know is that by His Spirit, He will reveal new revelations, and encourage us in the incredible future He has for each one of us.
Let’s stay close to the Lord on this journey. Together, we will focus on Him and face whatever comes your way. Currently, we are meeting for Sunday Service at Art Thompson Community Center 651 N.
