Joseph probably didn’t see a blessing when his brothers threw him into a pit.

He didn’t see purpose when he was falsely accused and sent to prison.

The pit was painful.

The prison was unfair.

The waiting was exhausting.

But none of it was wasted.

And maybe that’s where someone needs to find hope today.

Your current chapter may be painful, but it is not necessarily pointless.

You may not understand what God is doing.

You may not see the purpose yet.

You may not know how the pieces will come together.

But you can still trust the One who does.

The God who carried you through before is still carrying you now.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him. — Romans 8:28
