"How To Deal With A Snake"

Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

"Call A Meeting"

Acts 12:1 Now about that time Herod the king stretched out his hand to harass some from the church. 2 Then he killed James the brother of John with the sword. 3 And because he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to seize Peter also. Now it was during the Days of Unleavened Bread. 4 So when he had arrested him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four squads of soldiers to keep him, intending to bring him before the people after Passover. 5 Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church.

This week's sermon focused on how important it is for us as a church to pray for one another when we are faced with trials and tribulations as the church prayed for Peter when he was facing his trial of being in prision. Instead of spreading gossip about one another it is time for us to lift one another up instead of putting each other down. Do you know someone who may be experiencing a trial in their life? Reach out to that sister or brother and let them know you are praying for God to deliver them from whatever the
situation is and sincerely pray for God to move on their behalf.
