Pray that your sponsored child would reject the lie that joy comes from worldly success or circumstances. Pray that they would rather be full of real joy through the Holy Spirit and would be an example of joy in their community.

“You became imitators of us and of the Lord; in spite of severe suffering, you welcomed the message with the joy given by the Holy Spirit.” — 1 Thessalonians 1:6, NIV

Millions of children around the world go to school hungry.

Not occasionally. Not on a hard week.

Every. Single. Day.

A fed child learns differently. Laughs more. Stays in school longer.

No kid should have to fight hunger just to have a shot at growing up.

Hunger doesn’t just take food from a child.

It takes their focus. Their energy. Their ability to just be little.

When a child is fed, curiosity comes back. Play comes back. Hope comes back.

Every child deserves that.

Hot take: A school lunch isn’t just a lunch.

For millions of kids around the world, the meal they receive at a community center or school is the only guaranteed meal of their day.

It’s the reason they showed up.

It’s the fuel behind the question they finally felt brave enough to raise their hand and ask.

It’s what kept them from having to choose between eating and learning — a choice no child should ever have to make.

We talk about education changing lives. About opportunity. About unlocking potential. But potential doesn’t go very far on an empty stomach.

Food is where it starts. 🌱

🔁 Repost this if you believe every child deserves to start their day fed, seen and ready to grow.
