What does it really mean that Jesus bled for us?

Forgiveness always costs someone something. In Jesus, God chose to pay that cost himself rather than demand it from us. The cross reveals a God who isn’t distant or untouched by pain, but one who bled real blood because he would rather suffer than lose his relationship with you. You are more loved than you ever imagined. ❤️

Our Annual Great Pumpkin Family Event is Wednesday, Oct 28th, 6-8 PM in the Student Center at PRC. 🍂

Bring a pumpkin and we’ll take care of the rest! Decorate or carve it, grab some donuts with c***r or hot cocoa, and take a hayride around the parking lot. Costumes are welcome, so come as you are (or as a pirate)!

In Hebrews 8 Sunday, we saw that God doesn’t want a relationship built on fear, duty, or reward. He wants closeness, and through Jesus he offers love and forgiveness with no strings attached.

This week, try praying “God, show me how much you love me” instead of “God, change me.” Everything else flows from there.

Our next CHOP (Community Happens on Purpose) group event is THIS Saturday October 17th. We are gathering for a fall morning at Venetucci Farm's pumpkin patch. Enjoy a hayride, lawn games, and great photo spots, then stay for lunch together. We'll gather at 10:30 AM. Admission is $8, plus any extra for drinks or pumpkins.

Missed Sunday’s message?

Why do we try so hard to earn what Jesus already paid for?
In Hebrews 7, Jesus is our perfect advocate. He doesn’t ask the Father to overlook our sin. He shows his scars as proof the debt is paid in full.

Real change doesn’t come from performing for God. It comes from trusting what Jesus has done. That trust quiets our insecurity and draws us closer to him.

Women's Ministry- Our Fall Getaway is just around the corner and our Early Bird pricing ends this Sunday October 11th. We will be spending the weekend close to home on the beautiful grounds at the Franciscan Retreat Center, enjoying the scenic beauty in our own backyard and time together to worship, learn, rest, and play.
