Leadership is not about having all the answers—it’s about being teachable and then teaching others. This lesson emphasizes the importance of listening, learning, and faithfully passing truth to the next generation. A godly leader speaks with purpose because they’ve first learned to hear from God.

Series: Called to Lead: Leadership God’s Way
Leadership in God’s Kingdom looks different than the world’s idea of power and authority. Jesus showed us that true leadership is not about control—but about service, sacrifice, and spiritual strength. In this series, we explore what it means to lead with a heart after God—whether in your home, your church, or your everyday life. Rooted in Scripture and filled with practical application, these lessons will challenge, shape, and equip you to become the kind of leader God is calling you to be. Because when God raises up leaders, He raises up people who reflect His character—full of truth, wisdom, and love.

In a world that constantly pushes labels, opinions, and identities, there is one identity that matters above all else — our identity in Jesus Christ.

“I Identify with Christ” is a powerful reminder that we are not defined by culture, status, failures, or the opinions of others. Through His death, burial, and resurrection, Jesus made a way for us to become new creatures in Him. Our greatest purpose is not found in identifying with the world, but in identifying with the Savior who gave everything for us.

Join us as we dive into the Word of God and discover what it truly means to belong to Christ, walk in His truth, and live transformed by His Spirit. Jesus is the answer, and our identity is secure in Him.

Solomon didn’t ask for power—he asked for understanding. In this lesson, we explore the importance of spiritual discernment and wisdom. A true leader must be able to distinguish between right and wrong, truth and deception, and lead people with clarity and godly insight.

“Rebuke the Doubt” is a powerful message about confronting the subtle lies of the enemy and standing firmly on the truth of God’s Word. So often we think the answer is simply “more faith,” but what if the real battle is removing the doubt that has been holding us back? Like a car with the emergency brake engaged, doubt can keep us from moving forward into the calling, purpose, and promises God has prepared for us.

Through Scripture, we are reminded that God is good — ALL the time. From David facing Goliath, to the three Hebrew boys in the fire, to Jesus teaching that mountains can be moved through faith without doubt, this sermon exposes the enemy’s greatest deception: convincing us to question God’s goodness, His promises, and our identity as His children.

The enemy whispers:
“You’re not strong enough.”
“God has forgotten you.”
“It’s never going to work.”

But the Word of God declares:
🕊️ God will never forsake you.
🕊️ God stands in the fire with you.
🕊️ God calls you son and daughter.
🕊️ God has prepared a place for you.

This message is a call to cast down every imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, rebuke the lies of hell, and hold tightly to the truth:

“The truth is I am my Father’s child.”

📖 Scriptures:
Matthew 21:21
2 Corinthians 10:4–5
James 4:7
Genesis 3:3–4
Psalm 8:4–9
Daniel 3:25
Psalm 37:25
Hebrews 13:5–6
Galatians 4:6–7
1 John 3:1–2
John 14:1–3

God is not looking for perfect leaders—He’s looking for faithful ones with integrity. This lesson dives into the qualities God requires: honesty, self-control, and a life free from corruption. Leadership is not just about gifting; it’s about godly character that others can trust and follow.

It’s easy to ask God to be on our side, but the greater question is: Are we on the Lord’s side? In this powerful message, we look at the encounter between Joshua and the angel of the Lord, where Joshua asked, “Are you for us or for our enemies?” and the answer came back, “No, but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come.”

God is not moved by pride, self-will, or our attempts to shape Him into our plans. He is calling His people to humility, surrender, and obedience. Instead of trying to manipulate God into blessing our desires, we must yield ourselves completely to His perfect will and His perfect way.

This sermon is a call to examine our hearts, lay down our own agendas, and fully align ourselves with Jesus Christ. When we humble ourselves before the Lord, we discover that His ways are higher, His purpose is greater, and His presence is enough.

Jesus is the answer. Jesus saves.

True leadership begins with humility. Jesus turned leadership upside down by teaching that the greatest among us must be a servant. In this lesson, we uncover how leading like Christ means putting others first, serving with intention, and recognizing that influence in God’s Kingdom comes through surrender—not status.

In this powerful sermon, we are reminded that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is not something to hide, but something to boldly proclaim. Jesus endured the cross, bore our shame, carried our sin, and rose again in victory so that we could have hope, salvation, and eternal life. Because of His sacrifice, we can declare with confidence: O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

The world may offer status, knowledge, honor, and human praise—but none of these can save the soul. Good works cannot redeem us. Prestige cannot wash away sin. Human wisdom cannot conquer the grave. Only the blood of Jesus Christ and the power of His Gospel can save.

This message challenges every heart: What are we ashamed of? Are we ashamed because of the opinions of men? Because of persecution? Because of suffering? Because the Gospel seems foolish to a proud world? Scripture reminds us that the power of God is often revealed through humility, weakness, and simple faith.

From David dancing before the Lord, to Paul preaching in chains, to Stephen standing boldly unto death, the people of God have shown us what it means to stand unashamed. Their testimony still echoes today: Jesus is worth everything.

Now is the time to live this Gospel, speak this Gospel, and stand firm in this Gospel. The same message that saved you can save someone else.

📖 Romans 1:16
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth..."

Be steadfast. Be unmoveable. Be bold.
I'm not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Before leading others, God calls us to lead our own household well. This lesson focuses on personal responsibility, spiritual consistency, and building a home that reflects godly order. Leadership isn’t proven on a stage—it’s proven in private, in how we care for and guide those closest to us.

The Day of Pentecost marks the birth of the Church and the fulfillment of Jesus' promise to send the Holy Spirit. It was on this day, as described in Acts 2, that the Holy Spirit empowered believers and equipped them to share the Gospel boldly. This lesson will take us through Acts 1 and 2, where we'll witness the early Church coming alive with purpose, unity, and power. The same Spirit that moved then continues to move in believers today, giving us strength, boldness, and guidance. ✔ NEW HERE? bit.ly/35Uxlnz ✔ UPCOMING EVENTS: bit.ly/3wt9p95 ✔ WEBSITE: https://mastershouse.org ✔ REQUEST PRAYER: https://bit.ly/2UDhB3o ✔ DONATE: https://mastershouse.org/give 📍 JOIN US for service at 740 Wooten Rd Ste 108, Colorado Springs, CO 80915 https://goo.gl/maps/UzgxFSXBpjQ2 The Master's House is an evangelical, non-denominational house of praise and worship. Before Jesus ascended to heaven, He left His disciples with a command and a promise. The command? To spread the good news of salvation to all nations. The promise? That He would be with us always, even to the end of the age. The ascension of Jesus signaled the completion of His earthly ministry and the beginning of our mission as the Church. This lesson will examine Acts 1 and Matthew 28, focusing on the Great Commission and how it continues to shape the mission of believers today.✔ NEW HERE? bit.ly/35Uxlnz ✔ UPCOMING EVENTS: bit.ly/3wt9p95 ✔ WEBSITE: https://mastershouse.org ✔ REQUEST PRAYER: https://bit.ly/2UDhB3o ✔ DONATE: https://mastershouse.org/give 📍 JOIN US for service at 740 Wooten Rd Ste 108, Colorado Springs, CO 80915 https://goo.gl/maps/UzgxFSXBpjQ2 The Master's House is an evangelical, non-denominational house of praise and worship.
