Not every family in the Bible looked like a Hallmark card — and neither does yours. Jacob's household was complicated: two wives, two more mothers raising his children, and brothers who grew up resenting one of their own (Genesis 29-30, 37). But watch where that story ends — Joseph, the brother who was sold and forgotten, looks his family in the eye and chooses forgiveness over bitterness (Genesis 45). If your family tree has some broken branches, you're in good company — Scripture is full of blended, messy, imperfect families that God still used for His glory. This lesson will walk through what it looks like to love the family God actually gave you — not the one you imagined — and to raise the next generation in the Lord (Ephesians 6:1-4).

Series Overview:
Every relationship you have ever walked through — the friend who stuck closer than a brother, the love that made your heart race, the family that didn't come easy — was woven by the hand of God before you ever met them. From the very first page of Scripture, God said it plainly: it is not good for man to be alone. He didn't design us to walk through this life in isolation — He designed us to be knit together. Over these next lessons, we're going to dig into God's Word and discover what He says about friendship, companionship, dating, marriage, and family — the relationships that shape who we become. Some of these lessons will encourage you. Some might convict you. But all of them point to one truth: Jesus is the answer for every relationship you'll ever have, because He first reached out His hand to be in relationship with you. Let's get knit together.

We all have keepsakes — a box in the garage, a closet you haven't opened in 20 years, a Bible that belonged to someone you love. We hold on to them because they remind us of what matters. But there's one keepsake more valuable than any photo, dress, or heirloom — and Scripture warns us not to let it gather dust.

In this message, "Hold to the Tradition of Faith," we look at the sobering story of Hezekiah and his son Manasseh — how a father who did right in the sight of God raised a son remembered as the most evil king in Judah's history. What happened? The keepsake of faith wasn't just knowledge passed down — it was a relationship with God that had to be received, not just heard about.

Jesus is the answer, and He's calling every generation — not just the first-century church — to earnestly contend for the faith once delivered to the saints. Whether the fire testing your faith is spiritual or literal, hold fast. No man can take your crown.

In this sermon you'll discover:
✅ Why "believing THAT" isn't the same as "believing IN"
✅ What the story of Hezekiah and Manasseh teaches us about passing down faith
✅ Why apostolic tradition still matters today
✅ How to hold fast when the world tries to strip your faith away

Scriptures referenced:
Revelation 3:11–12 | Revelation 2:10 | Hebrews 10:23 | 2 Kings 21:1–2, 6–7 | James 2:19 | 2 Timothy 1:13 | Jude 3 | 2 Thessalonians 2:15 | Colossians 2:6–7

Jesus saves. Hold fast to what you've been given — and if you've never surrendered your life to Him, today is the day to believe.

Are you truly grateful for what God has done — or have you gotten complacent in His presence?

In Luke 17, ten men were healed of leprosy — but only one turned back to say thank you. Jesus asks a haunting question: "Where are the nine?" This message traces gratitude and reverence through Scripture — from Moses removing his shoes on holy ground, to Mount Sinai, to Solomon bringing the Ark into the temple, to Isaiah trembling before the throne of God — and asks a simple question for today: whose presence are we really standing in, and are we treating it that way?

Through the blood of Jesus, the veil has been torn. We now have bold access into the Holy of Holies — a privilege only one man could carry once a year in the Old Testament. That access is not a reason for carelessness; it's a reason for reverence, humility, and a sacrifice of praise.

Jesus is the answer to every empty, ungrateful heart. Jesus saves — and He deserves our thanksgiving.

Scriptures referenced:
Luke 17:11–19 | Psalm 107:22 | Psalm 145:3 | Exodus 3:5 | Exodus 19:12–13 | 1 Kings 8:1, 5–11 | Hebrews 9:7 | Isaiah 6:1–7 | Hebrews 10:19–25 | Romans 12:1 | Psalm 50:14 | Hebrews 13:15–16 | 1 Peter 2:5 | Galatians 5:16–17 | Romans 8:5–8 | Romans 7:14–15

In this message you'll learn:
✝️ Why gratitude is a sacrifice, not just a feeling
✝️ What "holy ground" really means — and why it still applies today
✝️ How to fight complacency and carnality in your walk with God
✝️ Why Jesus tore the veil so you could draw near to God

If this message spoke to your heart, don't just watch — respond. Turn back like the one l***r did, and give God the glory. Salvation is found in Jesus alone — repent, be baptized in His name, and receive the infilling of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38).

Before you ever say "I do," there's a season where everything is being decided — who you'll trust, what you'll tolerate, and what kind of love you're building your future on. Solomon warned us to guard our hearts above everything else we guard, because everything that follows in life flows from there (Proverbs 4:23). Paul gave us the blueprint for real love in 1 Corinthians 13 — patient, kind, never demanding its own way — and reminded us not to bind ourselves to what doesn't belong with the light (2 Corinthians 6:14). In this lesson, we'll talk honestly about dating with purpose, not just passion, and trusting God enough to wait for what He's already planned.

Before David ever went into battle, he did one thing first — he asked God. Not once, but every single time.

In 2 Samuel 5:17-25, the Philistines came up against David not once, but twice. And twice, instead of leaning on his past victories or his own instincts, David paused and enquired of the Lord. The first time, God gave him a clear word and David won. The second time, David could have assumed the same strategy would work again — but he asked anyway. And God gave him a completely different instruction: wait in the mulberry trees until you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the trees, then move.

That's the difference between presumption and obedience. Presumption says "I've done this before, I know what to do." Obedience says "Lord, what do You want to do this time?"

Jesus is the answer for every battle you're facing — and He's still speaking to those who will wait and listen. If you've never surrendered your life to Him, today can be the day you find peace, hope, and salvation in His name. Jesus saves.

Are you being shaped by the world without even realizing it? In this powerful message, The Dangers of Liberalism, we uncover how a loose way of thinking and behaving can quietly creep into our hearts, our homes, and our churches — pulling us further from the truth of God's Word.

Liberalism isn't just a mindset — it's a spirit of compromise that convinces us to loosen our standards, blur the lines of holiness, and call sin by softer names. But God's Word is clear: "Come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you" (2 Corinthians 6:17).

Jesus is calling His people to a higher standard — not out of legalism, but out of love. This message will challenge you to examine your own walk, break free from the loose thinking of this world, and step boldly into the separated, set-apart life God has called you to live.

Some of the most life-changing relationships in Scripture weren't romantic at all — they were partnerships of purpose. Ruth looked at her mother-in-law, a widow with nothing left to offer her, and said where you go, I will go (Ruth 1:16). Elisha watched Elijah be taken up into heaven and walked away carrying a double portion of what he'd learned at his mentor's side (2 Kings 2). This lesson is for everybody who's ever needed someone to walk beside them — and for everybody God is calling to walk beside someone else. Two are better than one, because when one falls, there's somebody there to lift them up (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).
