Freedom

Today’s Scripture:
Luke 13:16, NKJV
So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound think of it for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?

Today’s Word:
This lady who came into the synagogue where Jesus was had been bent over for eighteen years. She had been bound by the enemy for so long that I'm sure she thought it was permanent. When Jesus called her a daughter of Abraham, it meant she was a part of the covenant that God made with Abraham. She wasn't just any woman. She had rights and privileges because she was in the family line of Abraham. As with her, you're not just anyone. You're a child of the Most High God. You have rights because of who you belong to. You weren't created to be bound by sickness, an addiction, or any limitation. Get ready because the chain breaker is about to step in. If Jesus were here today, He would look at you and say, You are loosed from what's holding you back. Your day of freedom has come. The chain is coming off. You're being released into healing, released into favor, released into new levels.

Prayer for Today:
Father, thank You that You have come into my life as my Savior, as my provider, as my healer, and as my chain breaker. Thank You that my chains are gone, and I've been set free. I believe that every force that has been holding me back has been broken.
In Jesus Name,

Great Faith!

Today's Scripture:
When Jesus heard this, he marveled and said
to those who followed him, “Truly, I tell you, with no one in Israel have I found such faith.” (Matthew 8:10, ESV)

Today’s Word:
Family, in today’s Scripture, a Roman officer came to Jesus and asked Him to heal his dying servant.
But rather than have Jesus come to his house, the officer said, “Just speak the word, and I know my servant will be healed.” No one had ever so believed
in the power and authority of Jesus to heal, and it caused Jesus to marvel.
This officer wasn’t Jewish or even
a follower of Christ,
yet he had more faith than the disciples. Having great faith is not about being a religious scholar or how long
you pray. It’s about a faith that takes the limits off God.

Let’s be people who cause God to marvel over our faith and not over our doubt. Let’s
be people who dare to believe and ask bigger, who dare to do something that causes God to be amazed. Whatever level your faith is at, it’s time to step it up and believe bigger. God is doing a new thing, but it’s not going to happen with a comfortable or average faith. God is looking for great faith.

Prayer for Today:
Father, thank You
for being the God who only needs to speak
the word and miracles happen, situations turn around, and lives are changed. Help me to believe and ask bigger.
I want to be one of
the ones who always believes that You can do the impossible.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

John 3:16 For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.
John 3:17 For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.
