That’s a wrap! 22 Pilgrims age 13-72, 2 Camino Routes, 100+ km, 14 different hotels, 5 planes, 2 train rides, and countless memories. Over the past two week, we walked together through beautiful countryside, historic villages, and more than a few uphill climbs. We shared stories, laughter, prayers, meals, and plenty of prayers along the way. Through it all, God met us in unexpected moments … in the kindness of strangers, the beauty of creation, and the friendships that grew with every step. What a gift it has been to journey together and discover that no matter our age, God is always inviting us forward. ❤️🥾✨

St. Michael’s has 22 pilgrims in Spain on an ancient and sacred adventure to walk the Camino. The ancient path they are walking has been traversed by seekers, saints, and travelers for centuries. Over the coming two weeks they will walk through moments of beauty, challenge, laughter, prayer, exhaustion, and grace, carrying with them not only their own hopes and questions, but also the prayers of this community. “The Peace Doves” installation at St. Michael's is a visible expression of prayer rising among us. They are a sacred expression of hope, healing, and peace. Each origami dove has been lovingly folded from paper carrying prayers written by members of our community: prayers of gratitude, sorrow, longing, and hope. Among them are also blank doves, representing the unspoken prayers we carry quietly in our hearts and entrust to God's care. As these doves move gently overhead, may they remind us of the Holy Spirit's presence and Christ's call to be peacemakers in the world. May every dove bear witness to our shared prayer for peace within ourselves, within our community and nation, and throughout all creation.

- Pentecost 2026 at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church. The Peace Doves will be visible through the summer months Monday - Thursday 9AM - 5PM and Sunday mornings!
