Hello friends

It has come to my attention that there maybe some today that find yourself battling depression and anxiety more than previously experienced. Maybe you find yourselves even feeling bad about it as if it's your fault or because you don't have enough faith. But I want to remind you all that depression and anxiety are a human response to any overwhelming situation. This is why Paul said to be anxious for nothing but instead pray and let your needs be made known to God and then you will have his peace that passes all understanding! We will have these feelings/thoughts that may seem to linger and attempt to rob us of hope. But we don't have to remain in that dark and fearful place. We can fight back by prayer and the Lord himself will lift us up to the heavenly places with Jesus! It's may seem like it's a constant daily struggle but that is why Jesus said that we should pray daily against temptation and God's will be done in earth as in heaven and his will is that we should have peace and joy! Seek God today and receive what God wants for you this day and that is deliverance! Don't accept the lies of the enemy!

"To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord , that he might be glorified."
Isaiah 61:3 KJV

Psalms 100:4‭-‬5
"Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations."

Hello friends.

Maybe today maybe you are filled with anxiety. Election day, job situation, health concerns, family issues, or just the outlook of future. The bible says,

Philippians 4:6‭-‬7 AMP
"Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours]."

This is our antidote for stress and worry. so take a minute to pray and bring that issue before your God and let his peace come down and entering into your hearts and reassure you that he will work it out for you!

Prayer:

"Father we know all things are in your hands and we know that whatever we ask in Jesus name will be done that you will be glorified. We give you all our worries and anxieties and ask for your peace that passes all understanding. We thank you in Jesus name, Amen!"

God bless

Hello friends

Wanted to give you hope for today! The bible says, Psalms 27:1 "The Lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?" I feel with the covid numbers rising and the election day coming close so many are being bombarded by fear from hell itself. The devil being an opportunist taking this news and running through our city streets and homes with it. But David knew that no matter what news he heard God has the final print and final say of the day!
Even should his enemies surround him, David believed he would be hidden away in safety by God! Let's us today draw from this psalm as a word for today.

Prayer of the day:

"God we know all things are in your hands and that you are our light and salvation. We today put our trust in your sacrifice on calvary and are covered by your precious blood. We ask you to give us strength for weakness and joy for sorrow and faith for fear. We also ask you to forgive any and all sins we have committed against you and We cast out everything that is not of you. We claim victory in all things in Jesus name! We praise you and love you, amen!"

God bless

Hello friends

I wanted to share this thought with you this afternoon. Jesus said in John 14:1 "Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.". When Jesus was speaking these word it was in the face of distressing news of his betrayal and death. That Peter would deny him and they would be scattered. The impact of all this set them in a place of great fear and discouragement. But he promised he would send the Holy Spirit to comfort us and help us. He would reveal Jesus to us and be with us always. Jesus' time one earth was brief but necessary. To show us the father and to died for our sins that we may live eternally. But by this he gives us not only eternal life but unlimited access to the Father and today the heavens are open to us. Maybe today you are filled with great anxieties and fears. The heavens are open to you this day. Draw near to God and he will draw closer to you. Cast your burdens upon him because he cares for you. Jesus is saying to you today trust me and trust my father. We will carry you and help you always! Come to us in prayer and faith today!

Let's pray. "Father today we come humbly before your throne of grace. We ask that you would take away every anxiety and fear and burden that we are carrying upon our hearts and minds. We ask for your wonderful spirit to set us free from this oppression. And to give us garments of praise for our spirit of heaviness. Today we give you thanks and rejoice in the life and death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And knowing that you will never fail us or forsake us. We give you thanks and praise in the name of Jesus Amen."

God bless

Hello friends.

I wanted to share some thoughts with you today on why does the bible call the Holy Spirit the Spirit of truth and the comforter? It's because we can be lied to daily by our circumstances, our common enemy the devil, the carnal mind and the world. Like giants in our land we are filled with fear by their appearance and strength. If we allow them they can steal our hopes and faith. But as we seek God in prayer and in his word we will find that our battles still belong to the Lord and he is still the giant killer. His spirit brings truth and light to our situations and hope to our discouraged heart on a daily basis like fresh manna for our souls. Today I encourage you to seek out your daily bread for your mind and heart and soul that he gives freely from the bible! And share this joy and hope you have with someone who doesn't have that. We are called to encourage or put courage into those broken and afraid! Pray with them and if they need salvation lead them into a simple prayer like this.

"Lord Jesus I admit I am a sinner and I ask to forgive my sins. I believe you died and rose from the dead for me. Thank you for saving me and hearing my prayer today. Amen."

God bless,

Pastor Rene
