Where are your eyes? đź‘€

The world is constantly trying to tell you who you should be.
Your friends. Your grades. Your past. Social media. Other people’s approval.

But none of those things get to define you.

You don’t have to create an identity for yourself. You receive your identity from Christ.

Keep your eyes on Jesus. When you know who He is, you start to understand who you are.

“My eyes are ever on the Lord, for only he will release my feet from the snare.”
Psalm 25:15

The trap wants your attention. Jesus wants your eyes. 👀✝️

Our character.
Our values.
Our gifts.
Our differences.

When our identity comes from God, who we are can reflect who He is. 🪞

Different on purpose. Created in His image. Made to reflect Him.

WHO AM I?

Not what people say about me.
Not my mistakes.
Not my grades.
Not my past.
Not even what I feel about myself today.

My identity starts with what God says about me.

I am a child of God. ❤️

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!” — 1 John 3:1

When you know WHOSE you are, it changes how you see who you are.

So when the world asks, “Who are you?”

I know my answer.

I am His.
