Hello friends of The Well! Just a little update on our trailer situation.

We don't have any leads and are just waiting. Thank you so everyone who has shared our post and information about the theft and for the love and prayers.

Members of a local church in Colorado Springs are searching for answers after they said a trailer used for community barbecues was stolen from the church’s parking lot.

Good morning, friends. This morning, we discovered that our food trailer had been stolen.

This is the trailer we use for our community BBQ’s. The trailer that we have used last summer and in May to feed 1,400 people. The trailer that was donated to our church for the purpose of feeding as many people as we can, for free, REALLY good BBQ.

The good news is that we have cameras and caught it all. The bad news is the thieves took their front license plate off and we didn’t get shots of back.

The trailer: black, 7x14, dual axel, box trailer set up as a food truck. One side has two windows. There are two 3x3 metal circles screwed into the back and side of the trailer.

The thief’s truck: white/cream Ford F-250 with a backseat window (short cab), diesel, and it was leaking fuel big time.

The thief’s: 2 men and based on the video one of them doesn’t know how to drive very well…it took him longer to back the truck up to the trailer than it did for them break off the boot, the industrial lock on the hitch, and a couple other security measures.

We couldn't have asked for better weather for our first BBQ of the season! THANK YOU to all 300 who came and joined us for a delicious meal. We enjoyed getting to meet so many new friends.

We hope to see you all next month!

Also, some people indicated they wanted to join us for church on Sunday some of us (me...it was me...) forgot that this coming Sunday, the 24th, we won't be having service as we will be on our 4th annual all church camping trip! But we hope to see you on May 31st at 10:30.
