When Jesus ascended, the angels reminded the disciples that they weren't meant to stand around waiting. They were given a mission. Jesus didn't leave His church here to stay here; He sent us out to change the world. That’s why our mission is simple: Love God. Love others. Make disciples. Being the church means: Introducing people to the real Jesus through practical love, prayer, and relationship. Actively growing in your faith and helping someone else take their next step. And stepping boldly into the specific places and lives God has called you to reach. Take a minute to reflect today: Who is closer to Jesus today because you’ve been a witness in their life?

Why St. Croix Needs Us: After its oil refinery closed, St. Croix faced a steep economic decline, extreme hurricane vulnerability, and underserved populations. Their community urgently needs this project to transform the abandoned, unsafe 30-acre Good Hope School campus into a resilient community asset, especially for vulnerable groups like youth and senior citizens.

The Bethesda Project: We are partnering with the Way of the Cross Church to transform the property into an expansive resource hub. Once completed, it will serve the island as a:
Mental Health Crisis Center for families.
Women’s emergency transitional facility.
Senior Care Hub, offering companionship and specialized support.
Youth Sports Complex and mentorship center.
Worship Sanctuary for healing and restoration.

Meet Jackie! 🐾 Sometimes God brings us across the world to serve, and He surprises us with unexpected blessings to love along the way. 🐶 During our mission trip to St. Croix, Tony found this sweet puppy wandering abandoned outside of Way of the Cross. She was looking for shelter and needed a loving home. He knew she was meant to be part of the story. Fast forward to today: Jackie made the journey, and she is officially a Colorado dog, running the show and leading the pack at home! 🏔️✨ Jackie’s story is a beautiful reminder of redemption, rescue, and how God provides a safe place for the vulnerable.

Humility. Obedience. Faith. Those are the things that we can learn from the centurion. Those are the virtues that astounded Jesus and moved Him to heal the Roman soldier's servant.
