What an incredible time on Friday, March 27th, as we joined together to praise and worship God and to dedicate this blessing of a new building that he has provided for Cathedral Rock Church! THANK YOU to SO many who have prayed with us and walked with us on this incredible journey. It was so wonderful to have so many come celebrate this milestone with us, and we can't wait to see what God has in store for this new season.

Hey church, here are the discussion/reflection questions from Pastor Tim's message last Sunday called "Joy in Everything" from Philippians 4:4-9:
1. Have you been feeling more anxious and stressed during the coronavirus pandemic? How has your mental health has been impacted?
2. What would happen if you lived a life of constant rejoicing?
3. Is your graciousness evident to your family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and fellow church members alike?
4. What does Paul mean by "the Lord is near" (v. 5)?
5. What does anxiety do to you? How does it affect others around you?
6. How is prayer the antidote to anxiety? How can you worry less and pray more?
7. What does it mean that the peace of God "transcends all understanding" (v. 7)? How does it guard your heart and mind?
8. In this day and age, are Christians more known for the qualities in v. 8 or their opposite? How are these qualities to shape our attitudes and direct our words and actions?
9. How can truth be gleaned from business, the arts, universities, the media, science, film, etc.?
10. How well do you know the Word? Are you able to sift for truth in a discerning way? How can you become more grounded in the gospel?
11. What godly examples of faithful maturity have you encountered, and how can you learn from them?
12. Have you come to experience God's peace in the first place by receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord?

Hey church, here are the discussion/reflection questions from Pastor Steve's message yesterday from Philippians 4:1-3 called "Joy in Unity":
1. What do you long to be remembered for?
2. Are there any strained or broken relationships which you need to tend to? Do you see these as a threat to the unity of our church? In whose power can those relationships be mended?
3. Take some time to read the following Scriptures: Psalm 133:1; Romans 12:16; 14:19; 15:5; 1 Corinthians 1:10; 2 Corinthians 13:11; Ephesians 4:3; 1 Peter 3:8. How important is it for believers in Christ to maintain unity?
4. What can you do to promote “same mind in the Lord” relationships?
5. Who can you think of that would be a good mediator and how can you affirm this in him or her?
6. How can Philippians 2:1-16; 4:1-3 help you be prepared to help in situations of conflict? What does “be of the same mind in the Lord mean?” How does mindfulness of Christ’s attitude humble us and unite us?
7. Why is elevating the gospel essentials above convictions or preferences a key to maintaining Christian unity and a kingdom advancing witness?
8. In light of the current climate of animosity in the world around us, in what ways does the church have the mandate and ability to do what society seems unable to do?
9. It is easy to allow discord and petty rivalry to enter into our relationships. Identify areas in which you know this is presently taking place. How may the principles outlined and explained in this passage bring correction and healing in these strained relationships?

Hey church, here are the discussion/reflection questions from Pastor Steve's message last Sunday from Phil 3:1-14 called "Joy in Knowing Christ" (compiled from various sources):
1. Why is it important to resist legalism and false gospels?
2. How can your church be protected from legalism and false gospels?
3. Consider the seven sources of false confidence (ritual, ethnicity, rank, tradition, rule-keeping, zeal, and obedience to the law). Which source is most enticing for you? Why?
4. Read Jeremiah 9:23–24. Is the knowledge of God more important than riches and power? Where does it rank on your scale of priorities?
5. Paul was a “one-thing” guy (v. 13). What would people who know you well say is your “one thing”?
6. What goal are you absolutely determined to accomplish in life? How does this compare to the goal towards which Paul pressed forward?
7. What one change could you make in order to pursue the one thing that matters the most?
8. Read Colossians 1:9–10. Is it possible for Christians to increase in the knowledge of God? Suggest what this might mean to you in practice.
9. Believers have resurrection power. What is this power within you working to bring about?
10. Paul developed the race imagery in 1 Corinthians 9:24–27 and 2 Timothy 2:5. What is the prize for which the Christian runs? What does Paul say about how he was running? What does he say to Timothy about running? Read Hebrews 12:1–2. What does this author tell us about the Christian race?
