Charis Christian Center held it’s first service in September 2001 with approximately 20 people present. Today over 1000 families consider Charis Christian Center their home church! The ministry team shares the Word in a practical and relevant way with those to whom they minister. Charis also has a strong emphasis on missions and equipping believers to fulfill their God given destiny. Pastor Lawson teaches the Bible in a practical way focusing on grace and faith.

Men, join us this Saturday, September 12 at 8:00 AM in the Chapel for a morning of brotherhood, a powerful message from God’s Word, and of course, FREE breakfast!

Men of all ages, walks of life, and home churches are welcome. And don’t come alone, invite a friend to join you!

We had such a great time hanging out, laughing, connecting with one another, and then gathering together around God’s Word.

Pastor Lawson continued his series Living in the Overflow — Part 2, encouraging us to live from the abundance of what God has placed within us.

You're Not Righteous by What You Do | Pastor Lawson Perdue

Pastor Lawson Perdue teaches why the law was never given so you could keep it. The law was given so you would see you were a sinner and call on Jesus. Keeping the law will not make you righteous. You are not righteous because of what you do; you are righteous because of who you believe. Religion Will Make You Do Crazy Things | Pastor Lawson Perdue

Pastor Lawson Perdue asks, can you imagine someone crawling under a stall to check circumcision? Religion will make you do completely crazy things. Circumcision isn’t going to do it—and adding anything to Jesus is like saying Jesus isn’t enough.
