HE FLIPPED TABLES FOR THIS

Jesus once confronted people doing God’s work... the wrong way.

The temple was supposed to bless the world. Instead, it pushed people away from God.

Jesus said, “My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations… but you’ve turned it into a den of thieves.”

They had twisted God’s plan. What was meant for worship became exploitation.

God’s house was never meant to take from people. It was meant to be a place of healing, hope, and transformation.

God’s plan? To partner with His found children... to help bring His lost children home.

But to do that, His people need to pray. To seek Him. To ask where He’s working—and then join Him.

A house of prayer is how God’s people stay aligned with God’s mission. That’s how we do God’s work, God’s way.

DOES GOD EVEN LIKE YOU?

Jesus said, “My yoke is easy. My burden is light.” Knowing Him should carry a kind of lightness—even when it's hard.

But for some of us, it doesn’t feel light at all. It feels heavy. Even grievous.

Often, that's because of how we think God sees us.

If you believe God is disgusted with you, or barely tolerating you, why would you want to get to know Him?

That version of God is not the God of the Scriptures.

The real God says: “I want you. I accept you. I’m for you.” Especially when you seek Him through Him Son.

What you believe God believes about you matters— because it will shape how you pursue Him.

So before you go further, settle this: God does not hate you. He wants you. And He’s drawing you to Himself.

Want More Of Jesus? Do This

Do we want to go deeper with Him?

Do we want to say, “Lord, we want every last drop of what You have for us”?

Whatever He has, we want all of it. Every bit of His life-giving presence.

Whether we are trusting Him for the first time, returning after walking away, or staying faithful…

If we want more of Him, then we have to take Him at His word.

We start by seeking Him. Today.

We come to Him. We pray. We cry out. We ask for help. We hold onto His promises.
