TONIGHT, we have a great opportunity to love families into a real relationship with Jesus Christ at our Vanguard Fall Festival at Vanguard Central from 5:45pm to 8pm. Last Wednesday we had EIGHTY people at the Vanguard Vision Casting Night! We are EXCITED about the NEW BEGINNINGS vision for Vanguard for 2025 at Vanguard Central and Vanguard Tri-Lakes! God is on the move in both Vanguard locations!
Last Friday night we had FORTY-ONE students at the Student Lock In led by Pastor Candice and her student’s team! This is the MOST students EVER for a lock in! New students showed up! God is on the move in our student ministries!
This past Monday we had TWENTY-ONE men at the monthly men’s gathering. We spent an HOUR praying together. It was one of the most incredible men’s gatherings at Vanguard I have personally ever been a part of, to hear men praise Jesus through prayer, really and truly confess sin, ask Him to move on their behalf in their lives, marriages, and relationships, and to hear men yield their hearts to the Lord through prayer, WOW! It was a heavenly evening! I have never been in a room where 21 men prayed for a solid hour, and by the way, we ran over a bit because we kept PRAYING! God said, “If my people will humble themselves and pray…I will HEAL their land!” Thank you, Tony, for leading us to pray! God is on the move in our men’s ministry!
Starting this Friday (November 1st) through next Tuesday, November 5th, we will have a couple thousand or so people coming through our building to VOTE! We have complimentary Vanguard water bottles to give out to each voter who comes to Vanguard to vote. You are welcome to stand at the table and greet people as well and give them a water bottle if you like. If you have time to be at the church and walk the building and walk around the building and pray, we would love your ministry of presence and prayer support as well. This is one of the ways Vanguard uses its building to serve our community and show them the love of Jesus Christ free of charge and no strings attached! This is also a constructive and God honoring way you can serve our community during this election season. November is Glocal month at Vanguard! This is where we feature one of our significant Glocal Mission partners, that we do ongoing ministry with to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ both locally and globally, each weekend in November.

This Sunday we are kicking off our Glocal month with the commissioning of the Vanguard Tri-Lakes core team and Pastor Chris and Anastasha. Pastor Chris will be bringing the message this weekend and we will pray over the team and send them out as they relaunch Vanguard Tri-Lakes on November 10th at 10am at the Woodmoor Barn.
