T-minus 15 days until our first fall gathering! Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look as our team prepares for three meaningful evenings together.

New Life Women will be gathering around tables for three Wednesday evenings. We will be spending time in a book called Reaching Out by Henri Nouwen. Each evening we’ll make room for worship, teaching, conversation, and prayer. We are so excited to develop relationships with each other as we grow in relationship with Jesus.

October 14-From Loneliness to Solitude
October 21-From Hostility to Hospitality
October 28-From Illusion to Prayer

We are so excited to partner with our sisters from Nueva Vida who are hosting this beautiful conference with doors wide open for all our congregations (anyone!) to attend.

Friday night will be in English with Spanish translation available.

The rest of the conference on Saturday will be in Spanish with English translation available.

When you go to register, you can select which attendance option you prefer. There’s also a discounted rate available for teens. 🎉

We hope this Holy Week has been a meaningful and renewing time for you, drawing you closer to Jesus 🤍

We’re excited to share a quick update on our upcoming Women’s Ministry gatherings:

🌷Wednesday, April 8th at 6:30pm
We will be meeting as usual for a special teaching with Lisa and Eric. We’re really looking forward to this time together and all that God has in store.

🕊️Beginning April 15th at 6:30pm
We’ll have the opportunity to join together with the Life in the Spirit ministry. We’re truly excited about this next step and the chance to grow deeper in our understanding of the work of the Holy Spirit. We believe this will be a meaningful and powerful time for our community, and we’re expectant for how God will move in this new season.

We look forward to gathering together soon.

Last night we slowed down.
We made space for what’s been carried quietly.

Grief expert and spiritual director Liv Cataldo guided us through a contemplative writing practice, helping us give language to our laments through the Psalms.

There is something sacred about naming what is real—
about letting it surface in the presence of God.

If you missed it, we’re equipping all of our table hosts with the exercise—they’d be honored to share it with you next time.

We’re so grateful for what God is doing in this space.

No matter what you’re carrying—or not feeling at all.

We’ll gather for worship, teaching, and table conversation as we explore the language of lament—the kind of prayer that tells the truth and still turns toward God.

Our guest, spiritual director Liv Cataldo, will guide us into this sacred rhythm, beginning with a simple invitation: come as you are.

Wednesday we begin a five-week journey through the Psalms. Join us!

The Psalms aren’t just private prayers—they were written for a people. They teach us how to lament, rejoice, confess, and hope together.

Each evening we’ll gather around tables for:
Worship
Teaching
Honest discussion

Together we’ll learn how to bring our emotions before the Lord—openly and without fear.

Bring a Bible if you have one. (Let us know if you need one. 🙏 ) if you would like a supplementary resource to delve into, we will be referencing “Open and Unafraid” by David Taylor.
