We hope part of your memorial day weekend plans include hopping online this morning at 10:30am to gather (virtually) with your church family!

You can join us via our Zoom meeting room (email [email protected] if you need the link) OR via watching Facebook livestream on the Pulse FB page.

Tiff and Sam are going to be opening up our time together with worship through song and then Pastor Justin Knapp will be sharing a message on his heart.

Ps, now that churches have been cleared to gather again in person (while implementing proper safety procedures) we will be thinking and planning ASAP what our Sunday Morning Gatherings (and other things) can and might look like in the coming weeks and months. We believe it’s a time to continue to get creative in reimagining how a number of things in the life of our church will be done and expressed during this unique time. Whatever we dream up and decide, we promise it’s going to be a good summer! We plan to have a live streaming platform, in addition to FB live, so there is every chance (whether in person or from home) for YOU to engage and be a part of everything going on. ❤️

Today is Mother’s Day! We want to celebrate all the moms—including the ones who are pregnant right now with their first child! You are super heroes and are so appreciated!

And not just moms, but ALL women in our community! God created you as a woman to raise up the next generation regardless of whether you birth them, foster them, adopt them, encourage them, lead them, employ them, train them, or pray for them.

We celebrate you today and celebrate the unique gift and expression of “mothering” that God has placed in you and that others get to experience in your presence and by having you in their life.

We also want to acknowledge the reality that for some, Mother’s Day is a painful day instead of a celebratory one. If you are longing to be a mom, if you have lost a child, maybe this is the first Mother’s Day without your mom, if you have a strained relationship with any of your kids, if you have a strained relationship with your own mom... if this day brings up sadness, longing or loss... we pray right now that you would begin to sense God’s presence, comfort and healing in all the places that hurt... that He would minister to your heart today in the way that only He can do. We are sending our love out to you.

Big shout out as well to all the single moms... we don’t know how you do it! And to all the single dads (who have stepped into to role of both dad and mom) trying to learn how to braid their daughters hair on YouTube. Even on the rough days, you are rising to the challenge and showing up for your kids. We see you and we honor you.
