The Diocese of San Angelo is partnering with the Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate (CARA) at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., to evaluate and understand member relationships to their parish, clergy, and other parishioners. The survey focuses on the role of race and ethnicity in relation to members’ experiences within the Church and in their everyday lives. In particular, Black and African Catholics are asked to respond; however, all are welcome to participate. Results of the survey will be shared at an Afternoon of Reflection on November 7 during National Black Catholic History Month. The survey is 100% confidential. Responses will be reported in summary form only. The survey will be available from July 27 to September 7. For more information, visit sanangelodiocese.org/survey.
