Hey guys just wanted to let every one know that the styles of apparel this year for youth convention. Shirt is $10 each hoodie is $25. Make sure to specify what you want if you plan on spending the extra! Wanted to make sure we remembered this due to some questions.

Good Afternoon Strive Parents,

The holidays have been crazy... we haven't even made it to Christmas! I pray that you had a great Thanksgiving and were able to look back on the year and thank God for all he has done in your life. The students did an amazing job helping at our annual thanksgiving dinner for the community. We also just had our first Strive Serve Sunday and Strive to Serve Night (once a month on Wednesday) and both went great. Im in awe of how many student we have with a heart to serve.

Our values at Strive are Knowing, Loving, Serving and this is shown through two facets our relationship with God and people. The value of Serving is very important to me because I believe it will build in each student an ongoing relationship with relying on God and also teach them habits that will induce success. In that, 2016 is going to be a year focused on serving and I’m hoping to accomplish this in a number of ways. We want to be serving our church, our local community, our nation, and our world. To accomplish this we will be using one Wednesday a month to serve either our church or local community, we will be planning a trip to serve nationally, and we will be planning a missions trip somewhere outside of the US to serve the world. I pray you help facilitate this value of serving in your child so that it can be a foundation in their heart.

December 30-31 - All Nighter Celebration (8:30pm - 9am, $10 Strive as normal from 6:30pm-8:30pm)

March 24-26 - Youth Convention

Current Series:

Our current series is titled Broke and it is based on the idea that we are broke without God. He shattered and continues to shatter everything our paradigm says is success. This last Wednesday we talked about trust and how God fulfills his promises. He fulfilled his promise to send a savior: Jesus. January will start a one week series called New Year Fear and we will talk about the sovereignty of God.
