Good Morning, Just a couple of reminders for this week.
The speaker for the Lenten Luncheon tomorrow will be the Rev Carson Rhyne. This begins at 12:15 @ 2nd Presbyterian in Petersburg. Lunch will follow, they are asking for a 6.00 donation.
Lunch Bunch will gather at 11:30 in Hopewell at K&L restaurant. If would like to join us, please let Betsy Neblett or Sandy Gilbert know.

Good Evening. The scripture reading for this Fourth Sunday of Lent is Mark 14:32-36; Hebrews 5:7-9 and 4:14-16. The message is "Why Jesus?"

Good Afternoon, Friends.
The scripture reading on this 3rd Sunday of Lent is Luke 22:31-34. The message is "When You Turn Again".
Also, daylight savings time begins this weekend. Set your clocks ahead one hour so you won't be arriving for church as everyone else is leaving. That would be so embarrassing.

Good Evening, Folks. It was.nice to see so many from CHPC at the Lenten Luncheon yesterday. We definitely had a good turnout.
Sunday is the second Sunday of Lent and Communion Sunday.
The scripture reading will be Isaiah 53 and Luke 13:34 and 19:41. The message is "But You Would Not",

Greetings, Folks.
Lenten Lunches begin tomorrow at Second Presbyterian Church in Petersburg. Tomorrow's service begins at 12:15 with the Rev. Jeff Butler from Woodlawn PC. Lunch will follow the service and they are asking for $6.00. This is the first of six services. Our own Rev. Ken Goodrich will be next week's speaker.
Also, following worship this Sunday, we will have a soup luncheon. If you can bring a soup or dessert, please call Patty Clark . Join us for food, fun, and fellowship.
