“Say It Ain’t So!” Today’s sermon centered on Matthew 16:21-28, in which Jesus admonishes Peter for trying to defend and protect Him instead of following Him. Several members of the Youth group played important roles before and during the service. They also prepared gifts that were given to active and retired teachers and school staffers. Voice of the Spirit led the 9 a.m. congregation through several favorites. Beth Christy talked to the children about how we should always try to do the right thing, even when it can seem difficult. Whoever said you know a good Methodist by their casserole dish knew what they were talking about. Today between the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. services, the Fully Rely On God (FROG) Sunday School class and Pastor Brian enjoyed each other's company over a potluck breakfast. Thank you to Anne K.
