Good morning Tejas Road facebook church. We must admit that there are so many things we aren’t able to do in our humanity. When we look to ourselves and our own abilities, we are limited. This isn’t true with Jesus Christ. His abilities aren’t limited. When we look to Jesus Christ, our abilities aren’t limited either. 2 Corinthians 12:9
And He (Jesus)said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Just like the apostle Paul, we to sometimes seem unable. Three times he asked God to remove the thorn from his flesh, although we don’t know what that was, God said no Paul. You see God knew that Paul needed His strength. We to need to always lean of the Lord. When we look to ourselves abilities and achieve we seem to exalt ourselves higher than we should. God will never work through you for your glory. God works through men and women for His glory. God has a way of working the extraordinary through the ordinary. Don’t just ask to be used by God. Fully surrender and allow God to work His will through your life. This is when extraordinary happens and lives become transformed. Trust God and whatever weakness you feel you have because His strength is made perfect in our weakness. Amen.
Heavenly Father we pray You never allow us to boast in anything we achieve. Father God we humbly ask the You do the work and You receive the glory. In Jesus Christ name we pray. Amen.

Good morning Tejas Road facebook church. Scientists have tried to figure out life since the beginning. The more they try to disprove the Bible the more they discover from the Bible. Earthly wisdom is rooted in the belief that all of life can be explained and understood. Still today there are so many unanswered questions. Isaiah 55:9.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.
God moves in ways we can never understand. God spoke everything into existence with His voice. People may be able to build stuff and makes things and create new items and all these things could benefit people and even change the world but only God can make something from nothing. His ways are far above our ways. We can’t understand how God can do all the things He does but we can trust them. Our faith isn’t about understanding Gods plan, it’s about trusting God plan and His will for our lives. Science will never teach us anything about life after death. Only God can and He has told us of His only begotten son Jesus Christ. I don’t need science to put my faith in a Saviour. Study your books but trust in the Lord. Amen.
Heavenly Father we admit Lord we have questions. But it’s not to question You Lord for we know Your ways are far above our ways. Help us trust in You and rest in Your promise. In Jesus Christ name we pray. Amen.

Good morning Tejas Road facebook church. When was the last time you went to a place of prayer just to give thanks to the Lord? The last time you opened up and just counted your blessings? Psalm 92:1
It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises to Thy name, O most High.
The psalmist here reminds us how good it is to give thanks to God. Question. Would you have anything you have if it weren’t for God? We to often take things for granted. We tell God thank You but do we show God gratitude? There should always be a voice of praise on our lips. A song of praise in our hearts. We in our humanity expect things from God and the reality is that God doesn’t owe any of us anything. He provides for us out of love and we should thank Him daily out of returned love. To be honest with you, singing songs of praise to the Lord just makes you feel better. Okay, go ahead and try it. Sing a song to God today and thank Him for all He has done and for all He has given. Don’t just say thank you, show gratitude. Amen.
Heavenly Father, daily I’m reminded of Your goodness. Help me Lord to never complain about what I don’t have and to always be grateful for what You have given me. In Jesus Christ name I pray. Amen.

Today is the 75th National Day of Prayer

With the theme of 1 Chronicles 16:24
“Declare His glory among the nations”

As a church family, we are joining believers across the nation in lifting up our country, our leaders, our communities, and our homes to the Lord.

“If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” — 2 Chronicles 7:14

Today we are standing on that promise. We are praying for healing, unity, and a turning back to God in our nation.

God still hears prayers, answers prayers, and changes hearts.

To God be the glory, now and always! 🙏

Good morning Tejas Road facebook church. How comfortable are you with the lifestyle you now live? How do the behaviors and habits affect your walk with Jesus Christ? Exodus 5:21
And they said unto them, the Lord look upon you, and judge, because he have made our savior to be adhered in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hands to slay us.
Moses was sent to free the Israelites from bo***ge. They blamed Moses when pharaoh refused and added work. For four hundred years these Israelites had been slaves and now to comfortable to work for their freedom. Sin holds us this way. We get so comfortable or attached to a certain lifestyle we don’t know how to live without it. God sent us freedom through a Saviour and still we choose to continue to live in bo***ge, chained by the sins we attached our identity to. Today, say no more. Trust in Jesus Christ and let go of whatever is in your life that prevents freedom. You have been freed because whoever the Son sets free is free indeed. Amen.
Heavenly Father help us to loose the chains that we hold that hold us. In Jesus Christ name we pray. Amen.

Good morning Tejas Road facebook church. The Bible teaches that the angels in heaven rejoice over every sinner that comes to repentance. Heaven celebrates. That’s amazing. Isaiah 62:5
For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall Thy sons marry Thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.
Your Heavenly Father longs for you to run into His arms. He desires that you trust Him so deeply that you bring everything to Him. There is absolutely nothing you have ever done or ever will do that would cause God to stop loving you. He doesn’t ask for perfection or activity or religion, no He only ask for relationship. God wants you to know Him and when you come to know Him you will see His love in such an intimate way. Come to Jesus Christ and if you already have spend time today talking with Him. Be the reason God rejoices today. Amen.
Heavenly Father it brings us joy to know we please You. In brings us comfort in knowing that even in our mistakes Your love and Your arms are still there. In Jesus Christ name we pray. Amen.
