Update: the west Lauderdale community is amazing. We have so many supplies to take to North Mississippi. However, if you have waited until tomorrow to get things, we could still use travel, signs, shampoos, body washes, or lotions to put in hygiene packs for the centers to hand out. Check out the post on this page for other suggestions several women in the community will be at the church tomorrow afternoon to sort and get everything prepared to load.

Several churches in the Collinsville community are gathering items to take to Oxford on Tuesday. Our family there has been so lucky. Because their neighborhood was on the grid with the dialysis center and the hospital is nearby, they were not without power very long. They had limbs down, but none landed on the house or any of their vehicles. Thankfully, they realize the need to be of service and have been helping in anyway that they can. Our daughter-in-law, Jenny, worked one of the warming centers yesterday and their church is providing meals as well. This is the most recent list that he sent me of some needs that had come to their attention.
