In 2024 Black Girls Do STEM took 10 youth and 3 adults to the Costa Rica Rainforest for a full immersive experience at a field station learning about ecology, biodiversity and peace. Guess what?!? we are going back this July with 10 more youth, and 3 more parents with our Partner Friends of The Rainforest. We need you to paint n sip, helping us Teach ecology in Costa Rica this summer! Learn more on our website.

Big news! 🎉 STEM Saturday Academy is expanding to a new location in East St. Louis, serving middle school youth across the Metro East, with a focus on District 189. So far, we have 104 girls enrolled in STEM Saturday Academy; we have space for 16 more girls at the ESTL site.

We’re excited to deepen our impact and bring hands-on STEM learning to even more girls in our region.

👋🏼Ascension Teen Ministry had a blast at the RARE Believers Campus and Young Adult Ministry💥Game Night💥 Campus last night. The teens enjoyed all the things including ✅️prayer ✅️scripture ✅️application ✅️some thought provoking ice breakers, ✅️mouth watering wings, ✅️axe throwing, ✅️jenga, ✅️card games and ✅️some healthy competition. 🙌🏼 And they got to hang out with their big brothers/sisters in Christ. 📌Check us out this Friday 2/27/2026 at 7pm at Living The Word Church for 🔥TEEN NIGHT🔥‼️Growing up God's Way‼️
