Don’t wait til you’re perfect to come to Jesus, he wants you in your mess! Actually, He said to BRING your mess with you when you come, and just give it all to Him! 🙌🏼 He’ll carry it for you!

We are all just people. Sometimes we need saving from our own selves-from our ways of thinking. Strongholds exist, and they start in your mind! We’ve all sinned, and just in case you didn’t know, SIN. IS. SIN! Yours isn’t any worse than mine, and mine isn’t any worse than yours.

“for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus, whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in God’s merciful restraint He let the sins previously committed go unpunished” -Romans 3:23-25

Many “christians” don’t read the Bible and it opens them up to so much deception. Ask me how I know😕

I was utterly deceived by and completely engulfed in the hyper-Charismatic Movement. I whole-heartedly bought everything they were selling, (figuratively and literally) including a Bible “translation” that was a “revelation” from one man who said Jesus came to him in a vision and had him re-write the entire New Testament. To be fair, I didn’t know that at the time, and I just accepted it as an actual biblical translation. But THAT is the problem. If you are not grounded in The Word, you are easily led astray, blinded by “the god of this world” 2 Cor. 4:4

Most of the people in this movement are SO KIND, so loving, so accepting. In truth, people whom I still hold very near and dear to my heart today are living in this deception. These are men and women that have been there for me when NO ONE else was; people who have prayed me through some of the darkest times of my life. In fact, my love and appreciation for them is what has kept me from writing this for so long. I have much to say about this topic, as I have been in deep study for over a year now. I would never want to hurt them. The thought of them reading this and feeling heartbroken has led me to begin typing messages like this, only to delete every word.

I know the heartbreak and feeling of betrayal that comes when you begin to deconstruct your entire belief system. The confusion. The fear. But it’s because of that pain that I must speak out to others who have no idea that their *religion* is built as a house of cards.
