Praise and worship shift our focus off our temporary struggles and place it entirely on God’s unchanging goodness, aligning our hearts with His divine presence.
Expressing this gratitude honors Him as our Creator and serves as our most natural response to His unconditional love and faithfulness. The Psalmist writes, "Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name." — Psalm 100:4

Some blessings don’t show up until God moves from your options list to your priority list. Read God's command to the children of Israel in the wilderness at the foot of Mount Sinia, “You shall have no other gods before Me.” — Exodus 20:3.
Always be aware that anything you put before God becomes an idol — even good things.
Careers, relationships, goals, ambitions: None of them can carry the weight of your soul. Only God can. God only fills the space you give Him.

Friend, audit your heart. What’s getting your energy, attention, and affection before God? Shift it. Surrender it. Realign it.

Comment, “God over everything,” if you’re choosing alignment over distraction.
