NEW prayer challenge starting TODAY!

🤔 Have you ever wondered why we say what we say—or do what we do—at Mass? Join us for a new prayer challenge on our community page on the Hallow app: A Biblical Walk through the Mass, starting TODAY!

⛪️ Led by Dr. Edward Sri, this powerful Hallow Course unpacks the biblical foundations of the prayers, postures, and rituals we experience during the Liturgy. Each session brings deeper understanding and renewed meaning to our worship.

🤳 To participate, click the link to join our parish page, and join the challenges waitlist! https://hallow.com/communities/202/

🤲 All are welcome—whether you’re diving deeper into your own faith or just curious to learn more. We encourage you to join us and invite a friend to walk through this journey with you. Let’s grow in faith and love for the Mass together as a parish family.

Today, June 12, the Catholic Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. This Solemnity takes place 19 days after Pentecost Sunday and on the Friday after the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. Also known as Corpus Christi Sunday, which was June 7 this year.

Pope Saint John Paul II, a great devotee of the Sacred Heart, said, “This Feast reminds us of the mystery of the love of God for the people of all times.” The beginnings of a devotion of the love of God symbolized by the heart of Jesus are found in the fathers of the Catholic Church, including Origen, St. Ambrose, St. Jerome, St. Augustine of Hippo, St. Hippolytus of Rome, St. Irenaeus, St. Justin Martyr, and St. Cyprian.

From the heart of Jesus originates the true knowledge of Jesus Christ and a deeper experience of His love. On this day, we also pray the Litany of the Sacred Heart and make an Act of Reparation. All Glory to God!

All are welcome to the First Saturday Devotion, tomorrow after the 8:15 AM Mass in the St. Therese Chapel

Do you know the Five Saturdays Devotion?
A beautiful way to console Mary's Immaculate Heart.
In 1925, Our Lady appeared Sister Lucia, one of the Fatima visionaries, inviting the world to deeper prayer and conversion through what we now know as the Five First Saturdays Devotion.

Her request was simple:
On the first Saturday of five consecutive months, offer these acts in reparation to her Immaculate Heart, all with the intention of consoling the Heart of Mary:
Go to Confession
Receive Holy Communion
Pray five decades of the Rosary
Spend 15 minutes meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary

All are welcome!
