Praise God for the beautiful picture of faithful discipleship we witnessed this morning at The Orchard as we were led and served by those who have grown up within our church family and are now using their gifts to serve the Church.

What a joy to see the fruit of years of investment, discipleship, and faithfulness. We pray that these are just the first fruits of many more that the Lord will raise up, equip, and call out to lead and serve His Church for generations to come.

A heart that is genuinely anchored under the lordship of Christ does not need to react out of fear or anger. It can see suffering clearly, recognizing that pain is real but never ultimate. It can engage hard questions wisely, bringing the unchanging truth of God's word into the complicated and messy realities of actual human lives. And it can treat people gently, understanding that our tone is itself part of the message we carry.

When Christ occupies the throne of our hearts, the temperature of our lives comes down, and we become the kind of people others actually want to talk to.

The hope we carry becomes visible, and that visible hope is what opens the door to every meaningful conversation about faith.

Jesus did not hand his disciples a curriculum. He called them to himself. They watched him pray, serve, love, and suffer. Then he sent them to do the same. That is still the call today!

As Micah shares in this week's Enjoy God conversation, discipleship is "learning to enjoy God with His people on His mission." You do not need a title or a platform. You need a willing heart and the same Holy Spirit that raised Christ from the dead, living inside of you.
