What an incredible kickoff to our Religious School year! 💙

A few weekends ago, our students and families came together for an afternoon filled with fun, creativity, laughter, and community. A huge thank you to Michael Davis, who planned and organized the event as part of his Bar Mitzvah project. He did an incredible job creating such a special experience for everyone!

As the sun sets, we begin Tisha B’Av, the day of mourning on the Jewish calendar.

Tonight and tomorrow, we remember the destruction of both Temples in Jerusalem and other moments of heartbreak throughout Jewish history. At the same time, Tisha B’Av reminds us that even in our deepest moments of loss, Judaism calls us to hold onto hope.

May this day inspire us to strengthen our community through kindness, compassion, and understanding, and may we merit a future of peace for the Jewish people,and all humanity.

Wishing all who observe a meaningful Tisha B’Av.
