It Is Written has been invited to so some special evangelistic meetings as well as construction and medical/dental work in Guatamala. They have 2 spots left for volunteers who are very needed to help this project, and the deadline is tomorrow morning.

Happy Easter to everyone!
Yesterday and today we along with billions around the world remember the most important scenes in earth's history, Jesus' life, death and resurrection because Jesus is the reason are alive, the reason we have confidence in eternal life and it is one of our highest privileges in life to have a relationship with Him!

Paul said that Christianity is based primarily on the proof of Jesus' life, death and resurrection as God says repeatedly (Acts 1:3, 1 Cor. 15), but it also is designed to have enormous benefits on earth as well as the unrivaled gift of eternal life. The Bible says many times that belief in God is crucial for eternal life, but also for this earth too (1 Tim. 4:8, Prov. 14:34, etc.). Even quite a few major atheists have agreed that Christianity is a bulwark against tyranny.

The benefits from belief in God and being an active member of a health church is s far greater than most realize. Research shows that being part of a biblical churches has 100s of benefits, and if you try to put them in economic terms, which is hard sometimes since how do you quantify saving a life from su***de, the benefits are stupendous and far outweigh anything else on earth.

The benefits from biblical churches to society are truly incredible. And for SDAs, the benefits are FARR greater because SDAs follow more of God's principles. I wrote an article on this recently and another one on ~200 benefits of churches (I'm still working on both, but they have a lot of good things there already). Here are the links:

Just one study that did not count all the benefits of churches showed this:
The Toronto Study: 10 congregations generated $45 million in value (for the communities around them) . One church of just 50 people contributed $729,000 annually—averaging $14,580 per worshipper (Wood Daly, 2016; https://www.cardus.ca/research/spirited-citizenship/research-report/valuing-torontos-faith-congregations).

Join Highpoint's Family Day, April 5, 2026!

As part of our celebration of Jesus' resurrection, Highpoint will have a family day with fellowship, food and fun from 10:30am to 1:30pm on April 5, 2026. Please come, invite your friends and RSVP here:

Here are some important things to note:
1. We do ask that you invite your close friends and family to participate. There will be devotion time, food and games to spend time together as a church family!

2. Remember there is no way to refrigerate items so be sure to bring dishes that will do well for a bit in the outdoors. Think more like picnic food items for your dishes.

3. There is not a reliable source of water on our church property so please bring your water bottles to keep hydrated. Water will also be provided by the church but we highly encourage you to bring your own water bottles as well.

4. Please bring your own camping chair or blanket to sit on.
