VBS Adult Group Leaders Urgently Needed

Dear Friends,

Next week is a very special week at the Collegedale Church. It is our Vacation Bible School week. We will be visiting the Roman Countryside as we learn about the Apostle Paul and the Underground Church. We will have more than 300 children participating in this Bible time experience. Please join me in the following two ways to show support for this essential ministry of our church.

1. Pray daily for the children who attend as well as the over 200 VBS staff volunteers who minister to them.

2. Be a part of the blessing! If you are able to volunteer your time on any or all of the mornings of the week, please contact Pastor Carole at [email protected] or (423) 994-2396 to let her know how you can serve and help. We especially need adult volunteers who are willing to lead a small group of children throughout the rotation activities during the morning.

The VBS Staff training meeting will be held this evening, June 16 at 7:00 p.m. in the Church Fellowship Hall. All volunteers are asked to attend if at all possible and receive their staff t-shirts as well as pertinent information for the VBS week.

Single Together is hosting a Meet and Greet on June 20 at 3:00 p.m. in the Summit Room at Collegedale Community Church, 9305 Four Corners Place, Collegedale. This special event is designed for singles ages 30 to 60 and will feature a short devotional by Pastor Dave Smith, icebreakers, light refreshments, and plenty of time for fellowship and connection. Childcare will be available for children ages 2 to 13. If you plan to use childcare, please register in advance so we can ensure adequate caregivers are available.
