We’re one week away—and we cannot wait to gather again on Wednesday nights!

Next Wednesday, September 9, we’ll begin the evening with a fish fry and a big salad at 5:45 p.m. Bring a side dish, salad, or dessert to complement the meal, and come enjoy dinner together.

At 6:15 p.m., our children and youth will kick off their Wednesday programs. Then, at 6:30 p.m., adults are invited to join the Music Ministry in the church for Evensong—a beautiful way to begin this new season together.

We have missed these Wednesday evenings. We’ve missed the shared meals, the conversations around the tables, the children and youth filling our campus, and the rhythm of gathering as a church.

We can’t wait to welcome you back next Wednesday!

Our Senior High Youth are heading into a new fall rhythm at St. Thomas!

Beginning September 9, high school youth will gather on Wednesdays after dinner at 6:15 p.m. They’ll also meet on Sundays beginning September 13 at 9:30 a.m. We’re excited to create more opportunities for our youth to connect, grow, and share life together.

You’ll also begin seeing familiar faces returning—and some new faces joining—our children and youth ministry team. Check out the weekly newsletter to learn more about the Youth and Family Ministry Team! When you spot someone new around campus, offer a big St. Thomas “Howdy!” and introduce yourself.

Here’s to a wonderful new season for our children, youth, and the adults walking alongside them!

What a joyful Kickoff Sunday!

It was wonderful to see everyone gathered—in the Parish Hall, around the tables, and outdoors enjoying the afternoon together.

There is a rhythm we are sometimes ready to return to before we even recognize it—a rhythm of worship, fellowship, learning, serving, and simply being together. Perhaps it is the Holy Spirit gently drawing us toward one another and into the shared life of our church.

Our new "Come and See” T-shirts felt especially fitting for the day. These simple words from Scripture are an invitation to experience what God is doing—and yesterday offered such a beautiful glimpse of the joy, generosity, and welcome found at St. Thomas. We love seeing so many of you wearing them! If you didn’t receive one, stop by the church to pick one up.

Thank you for showing up with such joy and generosity. Thank you for the delicious salads, sides, and desserts—you truly brought your A-game! And thank you to every person who offered an extra pair of hands to serve lunch, welcome others, carry out trash, clean the kitchen, and care for our congregation in all the quiet ways that make a day like this possible.

We cannot wait to see what this fall season brings—for each of you and for St. Thomas as a whole. We are so grateful to begin it together.

Come and see!

Welcome to St. Thomas Episcopal Church in College Station, Texas.

In this short welcome, our rector, the Rev. Korey J. Wright, shares his hope that when you visit St. Thomas, you will experience more deeply the love of Jesus Christ.

Amid the many demands and stresses competing for our attention, St. Thomas offers a place to hold those burdens a little more loosely and be renewed through sacred worship. People of all ages gather here for worship, fellowship, learning, and rich conversations about God and faith.

Although we may carry differences that sometimes separate us, Christ invites us to be joined together by his love—and to share that love wherever God leads us.

We would love to meet you.

Join us tomorrow for worship at 8:00 or 10:30 a.m. During the 10:30 service, children are invited to Children’s Chapel with Ms. Emily!

Between services, enjoy donuts and join Father Korey in the Parish Hall at 9:30 a.m. for a conversation about the many ways to ENGAGE at St. Thomas:

* Serving at St. Thomas
* Serving Outside Our Walls
* Life Long Learning
* Fellowship
* Pastoral Hospitality
* Family & Youth

This is not Sign-Up Sunday! It is a chance to learn, ask questions, and explore what might fit your life right now—including how much time and energy different ministries require:

One time— Help with a single event or project.

Occasionally — Serve when a need arises or when your schedule allows.

For a season — Commit for a defined period, with a clear beginning and ending. How often you serve will depend on the ministry and the number of people participating.

Continual rhythm— Serve regularly on a weekly, monthly, or rotating basis without a predetermined end date.

Not sure yet— Learn more, ask questions, or try something before committing.

Come worship, enjoy a donut, and discover where you might ENGAGE. See you tomorrow!
