Slow and Holy Summer: The Sweetness of Ordinary Grace
Last week, we introduced our Slow and Holy Summer: The Sweetness of Ordinary Grace.
This week, we’ll share a gentle prompt inviting you to notice where grace quietly appears in your everyday life.
You are invited to participate however you’d like:
send a photo with a short reflection,
share just a picture,
or simply send a story with no photo at all.
When we take a moment to slow down this summer, God invites us to notice the sweetness of the ordinary moments in our lives — the moments where grace surprises us.
This week's invitation is simple:
What ordinary task felt holy?
Maybe it was walking the dog before the day got busy. Maybe it was making a cup of coffee and watching the steam rise. Maybe it was folding laundry, watering plants, washing dishes, or sitting quietly on the porch.
This week, we invite you to slow down and pay attention. As you move through ordinary tasks, pause for a moment and notice.
What do you see?
What do you hear?
What are you grateful for?
Where might God be present in this simple moment?
Share a photo, a few words, or both. Email Aneya. We would love to hear how you are discovering the sweetness of ordinary grace this summer.
