Care Network at Brazos Fellowship

Next month something big is coming.... AT THE MOVIES! This is a great time for all of us at Brazos Fellowship. It is a time for fellowship, truth that you may have never thought of before deep inside one of your favorite movies, and for people who do not normally come to church to come.

Please be in prayer for those who will be joining us for the first time during this exciting time. Pray that they would feel loved and known as soon as they walk through the doors. Pray that they find community. Pray that they hear the truth in a unique way. And pray that they COME BACK.

Today please be in prayer for all of our fathers. Pray that they feel celebrated and appreciated everyday. Exodus 20:12 "Honor your father and mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you."

In addition, please be praying for all of those out there that might not have an earthly father. Pray that they lean into our heavenly Father. 1 Corinthians 6:18 "and I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty."

Social media can pull us down. As we scroll through the snapshots of other's lives and vacations we find ourselves stuck in comparison or in our own head. Getting out of these thoughts can be difficult and if not stopped we can start to think poorly about ourselves and our own lives.

Today be in prayer for those who are grieving this memorial day. Pray that God would comfort those who are experiencing the loss of a loved one who served our country.

No matter what season you are in, know that it is okay to feel the way you are feeling and that you are not alone.
