Led by Matthew 7:13-14, Pastor Wright taught about a moment when Jesus issued a call to commitment.

Jesus spoke of a narrow gate and a broad gate. The broad road, following religion without a genuine relationship with Christ, is easy to find, especially if we just drift through life. The narrow road, following Christ and staying faithful even when it requires sacrifice, is hard.

When you find yourself at the crossroads of broad and narrow, Jesus tells you to make a decision. Although sadly, only few choose to take the narrow path, those that do find that it leads to life!

What will you do with what you've heard from the Lord?

How will you respond to what God has said?

Are you ready for Thanksgiving?

This is the time of year set aside to give thanks. Take a few moments and remember what Christ did for us...and consider our response to it.

Pastor Wright encouraged us to show our "Thanksgiving Through Sacrifice."

The days of animal sacrifice and burnt offerings are gone, because Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice! So how do we sacrifice today?

With the PRAISE OF OUR LIPS, give Him the glory for His goodness. Celebrate His infinite perfection, even when you don't realize it!

DO GOOD for your fellow man. Elevate kindness to a priority in your life!

Look at your life since this time last year, and see what He has done. Hope that in that time you've given Him the glory. Hope that you've been kind to others. If for no other reason, do it for the fact that He has been good to you!

LORD, WE PRAISE YOU!
