We enjoyed a great week of teaching, worship, and discernment at Baltimore-Washington Conference of the United Methodist Church Annual Conference. Great to connect with UUMC affiliated folks, new and renewed friends.

We recently celebrated Student Sunday including honoring a young leader who just graduated. College and graduate students led most portions of our worship service.

This special day launched a scholarship fundraising campaign so that we can continue to support students involved in our ministries whose vocations advance the UMC Social Principles. Don’t forget to give online.

Last week we loved being a part of a Sacred Grounds native plant giveaway from the National Wildlife Foundation, sharing 150 Smooth Asters, Butterfly Milkweed, and Golden Ragwort across our members’ homes. And we made it extra fun with seed snail making, bee house making, tree learning, and invasive species removal in our courtyard.
