We were honored, once again, to host the TWRA Hunters’ Safety Education training class today. Over 30 new hunters will safely enter the woods this year - youth season starts Saturday - thanks to Officer Cook. Just one way we at CGBC love on our community!

🦆 Serving the Next Generation of Hunters in College Grove

At College Grove Baptist Church, we invest in the families, communities, and people right around us. And in College Grove, that includes a lot of hunters!

We’re excited to host a ONE-DAY Tennessee Hunter Education Classroom Course at CGBC.

📅 Saturday, October 24
⏰ 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
📍 College Grove Baptist Church
🥓 Breakfast & lunch provided
💲 Free
🎯 TWRA Hunter Education Certification
👨‍🏫 Instructor: Hayden Cook

Instead of asking families to give up several evenings or travel somewhere else, we’re bringing Hunter Education to College Grove and making it available in a single Saturday.

We want to serve the future hunters of College Grove by helping them begin the right way: learning safety, responsibility, conservation, and respect for the outdoors.

This is part of what it means for us to be a church that cares about families, our community, and the outdoor traditions that are such an important part of life here.

If you have a young person ready to take Hunter Education (9 years old as of Oct 24), get them registered and come spend the day with us!

College Grove Baptist Church — loving God, loving people, and serving our community.
