Our "Let's Explore Church!" hikes are so much fun! For our first hike we went to Hoffman Hills, and we learned that by looking at nature, we can learn about God. We had a picnic and then hiked to the Observation Tower where we sang praises to God, had communion, and floated Jesus parachute men down to the bottom because Jesus is our parachute, always looking out for us! We saw a snail, a deer, and too many ticks, shared a lot of laughs, and ended with ice cream at Little Italy. I think the kids got half of Colfax to honk their horns as they drove by, too! 🤣 We're already looking forward to our July hike at Irvine Park! Watch Facebook for the date and time.
