Mr. Daniel Morgan Airhart, age 92, entered eternal rest on Monday, January 30, 2023 in Alexandria at Rapides Regional Medical Center.

The Visitation for Mr. Airhart will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Gallagher Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services, with Military Honors, will take place Thursday, in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. with Reverends Bobby Moffett and Bob Boyt officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Evon Brow Airhart; parents, Samuel and Azalie Airhart; and siblings.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Wanda Boyt (Bob), Ruth Airhart, Donna Townley (Steve, Sr.), and Jo Lynn Moffett (Bobby); sister, Bonnie McLaughlin (Otis); grandchildren, Danny Boyt (Lane), Emerald Owens (Mark), Cecilia Shader (Chris), Leah Pelto (Michael), Aaron Boyt (Jessica), Morgan Townley (Wendy), Andy Townley, Steven Townley, Jr. (Elyse), Bradley Moffett (Meagan), and Hannah Vidrine (Eric); 22 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.

Mr. Airhart was a loving father, brother, and grandfather. He was a proud Veteran of the US Army and spent most of his working life as a plumber and jack of all trades. He was loved by everyone for his humor, pranks, and joke telling. If asked how he was doing he might say, "Good....and mean." Mr. Airhart will forever be missed by those that loved and knew him.

It seems my previous post went into outer space. So a repeat. It is with great sadness of heart that I report that my father-in- law, church member, Daniel M. Airhart, age 92, departed this ole earth and is with his Saviour Jesus Christ and bride (Evon). Arrangements are pending at Gallagher Funeral Home. God is good and prayers do get answered.

During CoVid-19, and physical service postponed, our church still has expenses to meet. Please mail tithes, donations in or call the pastor to arrange picking it up. Remember, pray, use caution stay in touch with God.
