It was such a blessing to gather together in worship today! We were especially encouraged to hear from Wayne Miller about what God is doing through missions aviation in Palau.

In today’s message from Luke 10:25-37, we looked at the Parable of the Good Samaritan and Jesus’ call to love God and love our neighbor. While this passage shows us what God requires, it also reminds us that we cannot perfectly love God or others apart from Christ’s saving grace. Only through the mercy and transformation found in Jesus can we begin to live out the kind of love He commands.

A beautiful day of worship to our Savior!✝️
Today we celebrated our graduating high school seniors!🎓We prayed over them, gave them a gift, and sent them out encouraged and challenged by God’s Word from 1 Thessalonians 4:1–8.
The reminder for them was simple: God’s desire for their lives is that they would become more like Jesus every day and treasure Him above all else. We pursue what pleases God and turn away from sin, choosing what is right because we love Christ more than the passing pleasure of sin.

A wonderful weekend!
Yesterday at BONFIRE, our students were challenged to fully surrender their lives to Christ and boldly serve Him wherever He leads. From powerful missionary speakers to the challenge course, God worked in the lives of our teens and everyone had a great time together!
Today’s service from Luke 10:17-23 reminded us to rejoice in the grace of God and in our salvation above all else. Jesus taught His disciples that our greatest joy is found in knowing we belong to Him. No matter what we face, we can live with confidence because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.

Happy Mother’s Day!🌷
Today we celebrate and honor all the moms, grandmas, and women who faithfully love and serve others every day. We are so thankful for you and the impact you make in our families, church, and community. 💐

It was good to be together and worship Christ together today for all that He has done!

➡️Today’s sermon was from Luke 9:57–62:
We were reminded that following Jesus isn’t about convenience, it’s about commitment. In this passage, Jesus challenges would-be followers to count the cost, showing that discipleship requires surrender, urgency, and wholehearted devotion. We can’t cling to comfort, security, or even our past and still fully pursue Him. Jesus calls us forward, not to look back, but to trust Him completely and walk in obedience today.

➡️Sermon Recap:
In Luke 9:51–56, When Jesus is rejected by a Samaritan village, the disciples want to respond with judgment but Jesus stops them. He shows them that His mission isn’t about getting even or shutting people out, but about extending grace. It’s a reminder for us too: it’s easy to write people off or let our biases take over, but Jesus calls us to something better, to see others the way He does and remember that God’s mercy is for everyone.

This morning we sang about the one gospel that unites us, the very reason we gather each Sunday to worship: the good news of what Christ has done!

🎶There is one Gospel to which I cling
All else I count as loss
For there, where justice and mercy meet
He saved me on the cross
No more I boast in what I can bring
No more I carry the weight of sin
For He has brought me from death to life
I stand in the Gospel of Jesus Christ🎶

Sometimes we won’t fully understand what God is doing, but Luke 9:43–50 reminds us to stay curious and keep leaning in, trusting Him as we grow.
We’re also reminded that we’re on the same team. We may not agree with every Christian on every piece of doctrine, but the mission stays the same: seeking the lost and giving them the hope that can only be found in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We also learned that Jesus calls us to lay down our need for recognition. Instead, we’re invited into a humble, open-hearted faith that welcomes others and reflects His heart. 🤍

It was good to step away from the daily busyness of life and focus on worshipping our Savior at church today!✨
Today’s sermon on Luke 9:37–43 reminded us that Jesus had already given His disciples power and authority, yet they still failed to cast out the demon. The issue wasn’t a lack of gift, it was a need for growing faith.
The message was clear: God equips His people, but using those gifts well takes time, trust, and growth. Like the disciples, we may not get it right immediately, but God is patient as He shapes us. Our gifts are meant to bring Him glory, and learning to walk in them is part of our faith journey.
