There have been reports that the names of Texas pastors are being used in PHISHING and SCAM phone calls and messages throughout the state. We have been made aware that our Pastor’s name has been used in text messages asking to discuss “private matters” and went on to ask for gift cards to be sent for “members that are ill”.

Concho Baptist Church nor our Pastor will ever ask for private information or private donations to be made via anything but our official channels in person or via our online platform linked on our official church website.

If you or anyone you know receives a message from an unknown number DO NOT give any private information or money unless you have verified the validity through official known channels.

We are very sorry to anyone effected by scams and phishing schemes and are praying the Lord sends someone with the truth of the Gospel to the perpetrator so they may know true freedom through Christ and His finished work on the cross for them. Once they know this, they will no longer desire to steal from anyone.

We had a wonderful time with our missionaries and missions team in Manchester, England. It was truly a blessing to give scripture and invite families in about 500 homes to Community Baptist Church. We enjoyed the fellowship with other believers in Manchester.

It was an honour to be able to spend the last week with this wonderful group from Concho Baptist Church in Coleman, Texas. They are off and on their way back home.
