The congregations of Cole Camp gathered to celebrate the Ascension of Our Lord at Mt. Hulda this evening. It was a pleasure to host!

God has gone up with a shout,
The Lord with the sound of a trumpet.
Sing praises to God, sing praises!
Sing praises to our King, sing praises!
For God is the King of all the earth;
Sing praises with understanding.

God reigns over the nations;
God sits on His holy throne.
The princes of the people have gathered together,
The people of the God of Abraham.
For the shields of the earth belong to God;

The Easter Vigil dramatically symbolizes and delivers all that we believe, teach and confess. It is the resurrection. It is Baptism.

It's cantata season again! Our director has announced that rehearsals will start on Thursday, October 5th, at 6:30.

For 350 items, Pastor Truwe got the pie. And in a surprise ending, Pastor Braun got one because we reached 450 items. Outstanding!

For 250 items, Mrs Eckhoff got a pie in the face. The kids were looking forward to this all week.

2023 VBS has come to a glorious end. Having learned the Ten Commandments, tonight we rejoiced in the love of God shown to us in the death and resurrection of Jesus, who took our punishment on the cross, and rose to give us life!

This week we served 85 children with the help of 28 volunteers.

We collected 450 condiments for LSA's hot lunch program, along with $209.

It was a week filled with blessings! And some shenanigans!

VBS DAY 4! The kids have now learned all the Ten Commandments! And...we have reached our first offering milestone, with 255 items. Mrs. Eckhoff will be getting a pie in her face at the conclusion of VBS. And...we are getting closer to the grand prize of 350 items, for which Pastor Truwe will get a pie in his face too!
