Good morning Antioch Community Church Family! I know many of you have to be out in this storm checking cattle or other ranch issues like water, breaking ice, providing warmth for that calf that has not adjusted, or just struggling to get diesel equipment to fire off! Hand in there! Spring is only 6 weeks away! 😁🥶
That being said, the board has decided not to have service here tomorrow! Please be safe out there!

Due to illness that has struck Jeff and Shara, and the back up music team, the board has decided to cancel service tomorrow.

FALL FESTIVAL at ACC is not cancelled but is moved indoors of the church. We will still have BBQ, kids games, pie social with live music, fellowship and fun. We can’t change the weather but we can still have a great time. So come on out Comanche County!!! You’re always welcome at Antioch Community Church!

Charlie died today as a martyr for his faith; standing in the gap for my faith! Think of that! In our country, the USA!? It’s becoming more and more evident, by the day, that taking a Biblical stand against the woke satanic world agenda very well could mean the loss of your life and or loved one!
I stand against the few who think they hold the keys to their future! The “elite” few who want to drive the narrative of the world with bogus agendas and anti biblical heretical philosophy deemed to undermine the credibility and foundational truths this country— our country— the USA— was founded upon!
Who will stand now in the gap?
This murder of Charlie Kirk stands as a stark reality of where this country is currently headed.
We will truly miss the true narrative that Charlie stood for! God’s Word! The Truth to stand on!
Please pray for the Kirk family this evening.

This is the information regarding the Ruby May Thompson funeral for tomorrow. It is with great joy and mixed sorrow of her passing into eternity. Joy that she is experiencing the joys of Heaven, sorrow that she had to go. She will be surly missed but for only a moment!

Ruby Thompson
March 14, 1939 – July 26, 2025
Ruby Thompson, age 86, of Freedom, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2025, surrounded
by her loved ones.
Born on March 14, 1939, in Coldwater, Kansas, Ruby was the daughter of John and Florence (Hoffman)
Bliss. On November 1, 1957, she married Floyd Thompson.
Ruby spent the last 15 years of her career at Walmart before retiring. Her work was a reflection of her
steady spirit and love for connecting with people. Ruby found joy in tending to her flowers, creativity in
her quilting, and solace in a good book. Her hands were rarely idle, and her home was always a place of
warmth, welcome, and love. Ruby loved having her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren
visit.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Loretta Stone, and her beloved husband, Floyd
Thompson.
Ruby is survived by her two daughters, Tammy Smith of Midwest City, OK, and Rhonda Little of
Sedgwick, KS; her two brothers, J.L. Bliss (Johnnie) of Dalhart, TX, and Richard Dean Bliss of Columbus,
NE; and eight grandchildren: Jonathon Smith (Jessica), Meghan Snell (Thomas), Kaleb Smith (Sidney),
Jareb Smith (Camila), Katelyn Prescott (Ethan), Dariah Ballinger (Aron Schroeder), Jamie Burton (Tim),
and Stephanie Nutter (Chris). She was also blessed with fourteen great-grandchildren: Savannah Smith,
Aedan Smith, Rian Smith, Fiona Smith, Asher Snell, Jake Snell, Bennett Snell, Harlan Ballinger, Hazel
Schroeder, Noah Little, Abbott Burton, Bentley Burton, Dawson Little, and Addy Nutter.
She will be remembered for her kind heart, steady presence, and deep appreciation for life of love and simple
pleasures. Her legacy of love, patience, and quiet strength lives on in the hearts of her children,
grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who had the blessing of knowing her.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday the 30th at Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home in Coldwater,
Kansas.
Funeral services will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, july 31, 2025, also at Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, with Pastor
Jeff Perry officiating.
Graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Freedom Cemetery in Freedom, Oklahoma.
Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice.

This is a long one!

What’s on your mind this Friday? Is it freedom from the work week? Or more work ahead for the work week? Is it a break from difficulty stemming from physical or emotional pain placed on our selves from our impotent attempt at spending quality time with The Lord closely followed up by quality with my family? Or is it a wonderful mind blowing excitement that Sundays on the way and I’m prayed up, read up, familied up, and have been God up all week!
I’m reminded of my three friends who defied the devil, defied the king,and defied their peer group, who defied their social class, who defied their oun desires of good food and strong drink, three guys who were ready to walk freely into the fire knowing that their God would walk with them or let them die and go to be with Him EITHER WAY made a personal choice — they were prayed up, read up, encouraged up and found bold strength in Their God! He will come through either way!!!
Let’s walk gentleman into the warmth of this here hot fiery furnace! Gods got this!!!
Hey Jesus! It’s so good to meet You in this trial! We are so glad You’re here. We are so glad You can be seen out there by everybody! Look, they are watching! I noticed that Gods hand is on that thermostat up there! He allowed it to be 7 times hotter than normal! Wow! He’s still got this! We are still safe in His care! We are blessed in His oversight! We are blessed by that pressure He is putting us through! He is purifying me to come out of this fire into pure gold of service!
I don’t want to resist the fire, the pressure, the fear of the unknown! I want to walk willfully into the fire and become fired up to serve The Lord! To come out with a purer mind, body, and soul! A cleared consciousness and a reminder of Gods grace! That’s the Refiner’s Fire! “It’s to be my souls desire, purged and cleansed and purified that The Lord be glorified! He is consuming my soul, refining me making me whole.” Song by Steve Green.

How was your responses?
How was your daily quiet time with The Lord?
How was your light shining? Bright or dim?
How well did you respond to your spouse?
How well did you teach/love/ discipline your children?
How many times did you just throw up your hands and say “I quit! I’m done! I don’t want to keep going like this!”
… me too. Yes, pastor Jeff gets these feelings sometimes daily.
I have to walk with The Lord first. Have I put on the armor of God today? All of it!? Have I spent adequate time studying the fight book, the book of life examples, the Book of directions, have I spent equal or even more prep time in prayer with The Holy Spirit in the very throne room of God? Have I done ALL to STAND?
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him!” The writer of Hebrews pressed that hard. James repeats it by saying “faith without works is dead”. What are we doing for God’s kingdom agenda that would please him the most and in return bless up and power us up for the weekend ahead!
You can not reach back and fix and repair the week! You can not touch the tomorrows that lay ahead! But….you and I must look back at the yesterdays, remember them, learn from them, strive for God to be the leader in your life in the future, let Him turn up the heat of the fire for tomorrow, if we allow His good hand to control the k**b today, trust that today “He’s got this” then we will be better prepared for tomorrow as we leave today into tomorrow as finer pure gold!

For our first Sunday “live” it was anything but good. But we were at least “live”. We will continue to make improvements and make some equipment purchases to make the sound better. Thank you for tuning in and we hope to expand our “live” moments during the week as well.
