We will have the church open as a warming station with breakfast at 9:00 for those who need a warm meal, followed by a brief service.

Greetings and Holiday Cheer,
As of now we will be broadcasting the Sunday service on Face Book Live(The doors will be unlocked if you feel led to come but you MUST wear a mask) We are planning to be fully open the Sunday after our living Nativity Scene and we will have a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service.

Dr Thomas Dobbs, the top medical officer in the state of Ms, issued a statement advising we avoid all in person gatherings including weddings, sporting events,funerals, family gatherings, and church services. Let me stress, he did not cancel anything just merely advised we avoid these type Meetings. After consulting with our church council and with Dr. Dobbs statement in mind, we will not be having Breakfast,Sunday School School, or Sprouts this week. We WILL have Facebook services and midday Cain Break Devotions. I will however, be preaching from the pulpit at 11 am. I encourage you to watch by Facebook but I will not turn anyone away as long as they wear a MASK the ENTIRE time and follow the Covid-19 protocols. This will be a week to week decision based on the Holy Sirit’s urging, the church council, and the COVID -19 numbers. I know this decision will not please everyone but ultimately I have to follow the guidance of the Holy. This message applies only to Greenleef UMC only.
PS- I have been asked about our Living Nativity Scene, as of now it is still on go.

The Leaf on Sunday Nights will begin tonight at 6:30. Ages 5 through 12 grade. We will meet in the Sanctuary then divide into groups. Hope you will join us! We look forward to seeing everyone!
